The Practice Management Resource Group (PMRG) was originally founded in 1992 to provide leading edge consulting for the business of medicine. After spending ten years practicing as one of the first Physician Assistants in the country, and ten years consulting in the business of medicine, Ron Rosenberg started PMRG as a vehicle to help physician practices improve the efficiencies of their business processes and increase their collections.

Operating as PMRG’s principle consultant, he saw and assessed countless in-house and out-sourced billing operations, and evaluated scores of practice management information systems. In addition, he developed a unique set of metrics to evaluate, monitor and improve the financial performance of medical practices. This extensive background proved invaluable as the evolution of PMRG was being planned.

In 2003, Ron brought in Curt Hill as CEO and Donna Connolly as VP of operations as the Practice Management Resource Group expanded to include medical information systems and outsourced billing services while continuing to provide consulting. Curt’s experience in building and managing sales organizations and Donna’s strong background in operations in the medical industry allowed PMRG make the transition from simply a practice management consulting firm to an organization that successfully implements and manages solutions for all aspects of the business of medicine.
